A Google search on direxchange.com will show how the direxchange.com scam sites gained their ranking in Google: they spammed web sites guest books and forums to gain for themselves 1,400+ links to their site. (They seem to have some robots to spam because I looked some time ago and they were at 1,900+ links. Now they are at 2,%00+ links!). Also check for example http://www.possys.com/wwwboard/messages/285.htm and you will see that the robot can sometimes spam the page nearly every second!
Make a Google search on global-investment.us and see how, before my own page, they were known only to themselves. They were also known to direxchange.com but now that they have changed their name to www.globalinvestment.us, direxchange.com does not appear in the list anymore. The same goes for a Google search on click2exchange.net. However, in addition of my pages, there are now quite a few other complains of people who have also been scammed..
Hopefully, at least some people will get to read this page making a Google search and be spared from the scam.
In addition to this web page, I posted answer to the leading pages spammed by the direxchange.com crooks. Others also did the same. A search for click2exchange.net will now show almost exclusively warning page.
However, there is a trap, which newbies will often fall for.
If you just type click2exchange.net in the Google search engine, Google will only return the site's own page URL. What you need to do to get the warning messages is really to type "click2exchange.net" (i.e., with the quotes). This will return pages that mention click2exchange.net. Many newbies don't know that and so they will think that there are no complains against that site.
This problem does not occur with Google Groups. So, if people are smart enough to check Groups in addition of Web, they will see the warning, since I now created a thread about that on alt.abuse.
